Your activities
As an IT specialist, you get the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies and develop innovative solutions. Be it application or platform development – your activities are varied and challenging. As well as designing systems, you maintain direct contact with customers and lead IT projects to success.
During your apprenticeship, you learn how to program software, set up networks and manage data securely. Your day-to-day work ranges from developing technical solutions to training users. You’ll soon realise how varied and exciting the world of IT can be – and how important your role in it is.
Planning and managing projects
You record customer requirements, calculate times and costs and develop IT project plans. You use your organisational skills to keep everyone involved informed.
Developing and testing applications
Be it apps or software – you program solutions for a wide range of industries, prioritising quality, security and intuitive operation.
Configuring networks and systems
You set up server systems, monitor their services and resolve technical issues. Your work ensures that everything runs smoothly.
Managing and protecting data
Your responsibilities include backups, data protection and access rights. You ensure that data is securely saved and protected.
Supporting and training customers
You assist users with technical queries, conduct training and explain IT systems. Your goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient usage.
