Our values
have always been an integral part of our DNA
Our values of respect, responsibility, team spirit and service orientation not only shape our culture and our organisation – they also reflect our personality and form the foundations for our decisions. We live by our values day in, day out.
Respect
Our day-to-day work is all about respect – both for each other and for our customers and partners. At Equans Switzerland, respect means that we listen to each other and respect each other’s opinions. We see all employees as valuable team members with their own particular strengths and weaknesses, regardless of their role. In this way, we promote an open working environment based on trust, in which everyone is encouraged to get involved.
When dealing with customers, respect means taking their needs seriously and catering to these needs with care and transparency, thus strengthening trust and establishing a close, long-term partnership.
Responsibility
For us, assuming «responsibility» means making decisions with integrity and keeping an eye on the impacts of our actions at all times. We encourage our employees to show initiative and assume responsibility for their tasks and projects – because that’s how both personal and collective performance improve. Our high standards of quality and reliability are a promise we make to our customers and to each other – a promise we make and meet every day.
Team spirit
For us, «team spirit» is more than just collaboration – it’s about establishing mutual trust that enables us to achieve our common goals. We believe that the success of our projects stems from the strength of our team – and we are committed to an environment in which all employees are able to support and rely on each other. Our employees can always count on the help and expertise of their colleagues, helping them to work together more efficiently and more successfully. They also benefit on a personal level: by learning together and sharing successes, each one of them keeps growing and adding to their abilities.
Service orientation
For us, «service orientation» means always putting the needs of our customers first and addressing these needs proactively and pragmatically. We develop customised solutions and tackle challenges with a clear focus on customer satisfaction. Our employees work in an environment that encourages initiative and creativity. They experience the positive results of their work and the appreciation of our customers at first hand.

An extended family
with tradition
The foundation of our operational excellence
In more than 180 years, Equans Switzerland has brought together what belongs together: visionary companies that do pioneering work. The common goal: successfully mastering the major challenges of the future and shaping the three transitions.
Since the foundation stone for our company history was laid in 1834, we have pursued one goal: to be the best in the industry. This goal is reflected throughout the company's history. As a pioneer, we have always broken new ground: from the presentation of the first refrigeration machine in 1878 to the merger of Equans and Bouygues Energies & Services in 2023. Our almost 200-year history is the foundation of our operational excellence. It obliges us to help shape the future.
Management
and organisation
Effective, efficient and decentralised
Our entire organisation is geared towards providing you with the best possible support for your project. Our decentralised management model enables us to make decisions based on the local situation and thus drive projects forward effectively and efficiently. The management team relies on clear lines of responsibility and strong individual commitment – with managers always embodying the principles of «servant leadership».
