Your activities

As a heating assistant with Federal VET Certificate, you’re responsible for a wide range of tasks relating to modern heating systems. You prepare materials, install heating systems and carry out important checks. Together as a team, you create sustainable solutions that make people’s lives more comfortable.
Preparing work
You review orders, organise materials and create sketches on site, laying the foundations for a smooth installation.
Installing heating systems
From heat pumps to solar panels – you help install modern heating systems, cutting and shaping the pipes and then placing them in the correct position.
Cutting and welding pipes
You learn how to precisely cut, bend and weld pipes professionally, ensuring everything fits together perfectly.
Assisting with commissioning
You help commission new heating systems, check the pressure and verify that everything is leak-tight. Your work ensures that the systems run efficiently.
Environmentally friendly working
Your daily tasks include sorting waste, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and acting responsibly – so you play an active part in ensuring that solutions are sustainable.
