The Ordre des Compagnons is a self-organised community of experienced professionals who stand for excellence, the transmission of knowledge and a joint sense of commitment. The Compagnons enjoy the freedom they need to continuously improve their working methods, promote innovation and guarantee optimal quality.
Those who join are making a personal commitment founded on mutual respect, solidarity and team spirit. They are also laying the foundations for Equans Switzerland’s long-term success – and taking a very forward-looking step, especially at a time when there is a shortage of skilled workers. The 27 Swiss Compagnons are taking on a key role as ambassadors for operational excellence, quality and company values.
An initiative with a long tradition
Equans Switzerland has made a bold move with the launch of the Ordre des Compagnons Equans Switzerland in 2025, thus asserting its pioneering and innovative spirit, and the core values that underpin it. Following in the footsteps of France and Belgium, Switzerland is now the third country to adopt this long-running initiative, which was launched by Francis Bouygues, founder of the Bouygues Group, in 1963. Francis Bouygues was a visionary, who created sustainable values by focusing on innovation, quality and developing his staff.
