Your activities
Whether in the workshop or on the construction site – your day-to-day work as a ventilation system assistant is varied and exciting. You work on ventilation systems for homes, offices and industrial facilities. Your precise work ensures a pleasant indoor climate, and you’re always in the thick of the action.
As a ventilation system assistant, you work in the workshop and on construction sites. You assist with planning, build components and assemble them on site, learning how to understand and implement ventilation systems and becoming an important part of the building technology industry.
Preparing work
You check orders, prepare materials and tools, and make sure all machines are ready for use, as well as inspecting components.
Manufacturing components
In the workshop, you cut sheet metal parts, bend them into shape and assemble them into ventilation components. Precision and manual skills are required here.
On-site assembly and installation
On construction sites, you assemble and install ventilation pipe systems and air vents together with your team. You adapt the components and ensure perfect installation.
Commissioning ventilation systems
You test the systems, check their leak-tightness and ensure that everything works perfectly, precisely adjusting the air flow.
Removing old systems
During renovations, you help remove old ventilation systems, ensuring proper disposal and environmental protection.
